Katilyn grew up in Murrieta, California. Katilyn earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with an emphasis in Public Law and a minor in Accounting from San Diego State University. Katilyn received her Juris Doctor and Masters of Laws in Taxation from the University of San Diego. She was admitted to the California Bar in January 2021 and the Texas Bar in October 2022. Katilyn has been practicing law in the areas of estate planning, probate, trust administration, and business formations.

Katilyn currently serves as the Co-Chair for the San Diego Chapter of Young Tax Lawyers and is a member of Probate Attorneys of San Diego and the San Diego County Bar Association (Tax and Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law sections).

Outside of work, Katilyn enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, frequent trips to Disneyland, quilting, and trying out new recipes and restaurants.
